Alexander Sharp, Jr., age 77, of Carriere passed away Sunday, June 5, 2011 at his residence.
Visitation will be held Thursday, June 9, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Picayune Funeral Home Chapel with Funeral Services at Sharp Chapel Church in Bush, LA at 1:00 p.m. with Bro. Allen Hickman officiating.
Alexander moved to Carriere from New Orleans nineteen years ago. He was a supervisor at Standard Brands Incorporated and a Christian.
He is survived by his wife Rosie Cook Sharp of Carriere; one son Alexander Sharp III of Tennessee
one daughter Brenda Gayle Sharp Siebenkittel of Carriere two brothers Charles Aubrey Sharp of Texas and LaTroy Veltee Sharp of Bush, LA seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents Alexander Sharp, Sr. and Mellinee Hunt Sharp
