Ana Maria Gomez of Picayune, Mississippi passed away on Sunday, April 14, 2019 at the age of 91.
Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. on Friday, April 26, 2019 at Picayune Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will follow at 3:00 p.m. in the Picayune Funeral Home Chapel.
Ana was a native of Cali, Colombia, South America and a resident of Picayune for the past twelve years. She was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. She enjoyed cooking for her family and loved to crochet.
She is survived by her daughters, Maria Antonia Murillo, Maria del Carmen, and Maria Elvia Gomez, all of Colombia, South America; Ana Angela Franco of Gretna, Louisiana and Ester Mary Gomez of Picayune, Mississippi; twenty-three grandchildren and thirty-eight great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Micaelina Gomez; her husband, Jose Maria Rojas; two sons, one brother and three sisters.
