Andrew "Andy" Wing Greenwood Jr.

Andrew "Andy" Wing Greenwood Jr. was born on December 7, 1937, in New Orleans, Louisiana. He passed away peacefully on October 2, 2025, in Carriere, Mississippi.

Andy had a diverse and fulfilling career, working as an A&P Mechanic and an Airline Transport Pilot. He not only excelled in the aviation field but also dedicated many years of his life to serving the community as a retired member of the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office. His devotion to service extended to his military background, where he proudly served in the Air Force Reserve and the Air National Guard of Louisiana.

He was a loving father to his daughter, Catherine Tobin (Tim), and his sons, Micheal Greenwood (Gina), Bryan Greenwood (Diana), and Sean Greenwood (Melanie). Andy is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Christine K. Greenwood, with whom he shared many years of love and companionship.

Andy will be remembered for his kindness, dedication to his profession, and the love he showed to his family and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at a date to be determined.
