Barney Barnett Tims, Jr., age 57, of Picayune passed away Thursday, December 30, 2010 in Highland Community Hospital.
Private Memorial Services were held.
Barney was born in Port Lavaca, Texas and moved to Picayune from St. Bernard Parish twenty-nine years ago. He worked at Bisso Marine in Human Resources/Port Captain and was a U.S. Coast Guard Veteran. He was a Protestant.
He is survived by his parents, Barney B. Tims, Sr. and Helen B. Tims of Lake Village, Arkansas; wife, Yvonne McPherson Tims of Picayune; one son, Robby McPherson of Houma, Louisiana; two brothers, Byron Tims of Natchez, Mississippi and William Tims of Austin, Texas; two sisters, Wanda Towery of Lake Village, Arkansas and Glenda Curran of Apache Junction, Arizona; two grandchildren.
