Billy Joe McFarland, 44, departed this earthly life on October 18, 2026.

Billy was born in Ocala, Florida, on May 23, 1982, to parents William McFarland and Vickie Wible. He was a lifelong resident of Marrero, Louisiana, and had a zest for life. He possessed a natural charm and a very eager heart with a passion for public service. He always enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid angler, but he was best known for his artistry and vision as a tattoo artist, having tattooed countless friends and family members along with the general public. Billy knew what this world had to offer him and grabbed at life from every angle. He may have lost his way, but he never lost his light, and may that light shine on him forever.

We know God heard him coming.

Billy is survived by his mother, Vickie Marie Wible; sister, Angelle Ruiz (Kirk); brother, Jamie King; a daughter; four nieces; two nephews; and countless cousins.

A small gathering for family will be held on Sunday, November 1st, at Unity Baptist Church, 3334 MS-43, Picayune, MS 39466.
