Bobby Gene Robinson, age 76, of Carriere passed away Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at his residence.
Visitation will be Wednesday, May 19th from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at Picayune Funeral Home Chapel, followed by a Funeral Service at 2:00 p.m., with Bro. James Reeves officiating.Burial will be at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Bobby, a native of Bankhead, Alabama, moved here from Chalmette, LA twenty-seven years ago.He was a retired Police Lieutenant with theNew Orleans Police Department and a U.S. Navy veteran. He was also a member of theFraternal Order of Police, the Masonic Lodge,and of the Baptist faith.
He was survived by his son, Gary Eugene Robinson; daughter, Angela Robinson of Butte, Montana; brother, Elton Bostick, Jr. of Providence, Rhode Island; grandson, Stan Heinrich of Slidell, LA.
He is preceded in death in by his wife, Mildred Robinson.
