IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Brandon Chase
Emery
January 2, 1984 – January 12, 2026
Brandon Chase Emery, a devoted husband, father, and a man deeply rooted in his faith, passed away on January 12, 2026, in Picayune, Mississippi. He was born on January 2, 1984, in the vibrant city of New Orleans, Louisiana, where he carried the warmth and spirit of his upbringing throughout his life.
Brandon is remembered as a loving family man who cherished every moment spent with his loved ones. His intrinsic qualities as a husband and father defined him; he took great pride in nurturing the bonds with his wife and his beloved children. He found joy in the simple moments, always making time to create lasting memories with his family.
Raised in a home that instilled in him strong religious values, Brandon was a man of God whose faith guided him through life’s challenges and triumphs. He was well-respected within his community and was known for his kindness and generosity towards others.
Brandon’s family included his wife Summer Emery, daughters Abigail Emery, Paige Emery, Autumn Emery and Amelia Emery, stepchildren, Emilee Bennett, Gary Fortner III, and Blake Rushing, whom he embraced with open arms. His extended family, which brought him great joy, included his brothers Jerry Shannon, Sterling Emery (Crystal), and Bruce Emery Jr., as well as his sisters Leanne Emery and Stormy Porter. He held a special bond with his sister-in-law, Cecily Wilson (Dylan), along with his adoring nieces and nephews: Zayne Wilson, Ripleigh Wilson, Chole Emery, and Dakota Burge.
Brandon’s love extended beyond his immediate family. He was particularly close to his grandmother, Kathleen Easter, and his aunt, Robin Baker Rodriguez. The cherished memories of family gatherings, laughter, and shared stories will remain a testament to the love that permeated his life.
Brandon is preceded in death by his parents, Bruce Emery Sr. and Kathy Baker Porter, who laid the foundation for his strong character and values. He is also survived by the memory of his late aunt, Vicky Baker Smith, as well as his mother-in-law, Carolyn Bennett, and his sisters-in-law, Leigh McClain, and brothers-in-law, Douglas McClain and Walter Bennett Jr., who were all part of his extended family network.
Brandon Chase Emery leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and commitment to family that will resonate deeply in the hearts of all who knew him. As we celebrate his life, we embrace the lessons he imparted and the love he shared so generously with the world.
