Calvin "Jody" Joseph Peterson of Carriere, Mississippi passed away Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at the age of 54.
Jody was a lifelong resident of Carriere, Mississippi. He was a professor of Auto Mechanics at LSU, loved racing and built racecar engines.
He is survived by his wife, Diane Peterson; granny, Claudine Ladner; daughter, Emily Deese (Jason); brother, Wesley Parker; sister, Pam Holley; grandchildren, Austin and Cadence Deese, Tatum and Michael Varnado.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles Joseph Peterson and Alice Faye Peterson.
A graveside service will be held 1:30 p.m. Saturday, November 21, 2020 at Paige Cemetery, Old Crossroads, East.
