Charles Floyd Doty, Sr., age 73, of Perkinston, MS passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at his residence.
Charles was a resident of Hancock County since 1991, a truck driver and a member of Ridge Memorial Baptist Church. He loved to garden and listen to old country music on WRJW. He made friends easily and was well respected. He was a good husband, father and grandfather.
He is survived by his wife of twenty-nine years, Judy Patterson Doty of Perkinston; Three sons, Charles Doty, Jr. of Louisiana, Raymond L. Doty of Louisiana and John C. Doty of Louisiana; three daughters, Patricia Pappa of Delaware, Brenda Kay Seay of Texas and Tammy M. Coffman of Washington; one step-son, Robert R. Casavant of Perkinston; two brothers, Forest C. Doty of California and J.T. Doty, Jr. of Louisiana; two sisters, Mary Vincellette of Louisiana and Dianna Sue Stewart of Florida; seventeen grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and one step-great-grandchild.
He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Earl Doty, Sr.
