Clayton Ray
Davis Jr.
Feb 8, 1993 — Aug 27, 2026
New Orleans, Louisiana
Clayton Ray Davis, Jr. was born on February 8, 1993, the youngest child and only son of Darla Faxon Davis and Clayton Ray Davis, Sr.
From an early age, Clayton showed a curiosity about life, an adventurous spirit, and a natural athletic talent. Clayton found joy in things other viewed as "dangerous", from karate and skateboarding as a young boy to in his adult years, he continued to challenge himself physically and mentally, training and competing in Boxing and Mixed Martial Arts. But it was his love for his family and friends that truly endeared him to so many people.
To his mother, he was always “Son.” To his niece and nephews, he was “Grandad."
Clayton faced many things in his life that made him realize that life was short and that tomorrow is never guaranteed. Instead of dwelling on the past, he lived in the moment and chose to live fully. He traveled, spent time with the people he loved, and embraced life with the understanding that every day was a gift.
He is survived by his parents; his sisters - Shannon Leigh Davis, Lauren Davis Beatmann; and Brooke Faxon; his godchildren - Aaliyah Rohrbacker and Kingston Beatmann; his nephews - Tristen Rohrbacker (Marissa Casanova), Madden Rohrbacker, Elijah and Braylon Beatmann; his great nephew, Tristen Jr.; as well as his beloved aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Malcolm and Lillian Mae Burtanog Faxon and Thais Miller.
On August 27, 2026, Clayton went to sleep, and this time, he did not need to wake up. God took him home peacefully.
Clayton had a way of making every person around him feel important, loved, and valued. He gave pieces of himself to the people he loved, and those pieces will remain with us.
He will be missed more than words can say—desperately, profoundly, and forever.
Rest peacefully, Clayton Ray.
You were loved. You are loved. And you will never be forgotten.
