Clyde Jackson "CJ" Jones

Clyde Jackson “C.J.” Jones, passed away peacefully on December 29, 2025 at the age of 84. He was born in Lumberton, MS on November 26, 1941, to the late Jesse Clyde Jones and Annie Mae Henderson Jones.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Mary Louise Blackmon Jones, his children, Keith “Kip” Jones and Kimberly Jones LaRosa (Fritz); his grandchildren, Jenny Nobile, Jeff Nobile (Ashley), Erica Miller, Elaina Frey (Jesse), Nico LaRosa, and Evan Jacobs (Tyger); his great-grandchildren, Kinley Nobile, Chloeigh McNeil (Cade), Graven Seawright, Danielle Thompson, Cayden Miller, Emily Miller, Carmella Jacobs; and his brother, Tommy Jones.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Sidney Jones and Ronnie Jones; his sisters, Idele LaCroix and Nancy LeBreton; his grandson, Zack Nobile; and his great grandson, Justin Jacobs.

There will be a celebration of life/memorial service held in his honor, in Covington, La on Saturday January 24, 2026.
