In Loving Memory

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Connor Andrew Smith, age 27, who left us far too soon.

Born August 18, 1998, to Sean and Angela Smith, Connor was a loving son, brother, grandson, nephew, and cherished friend.

Family meant everything to him, and some of his happiest moments were spent surrounded by the people he loved most. He had a way of bringing laughter, warmth, and joy wherever he went, creating memories that his family and friends will treasure forever.

He had a true spirit of adventure and loved traveling, discovering new places, and making unforgettable memories along the way. Whether on a family trip, exploring somewhere new with friends or alone, he embraced every adventure with enthusiasm. Connor never met a stranger and his infectious energy drew people to him.

Sports were another great passion of his. He loved the excitement of the game. When he was on the field or sand, his competitive spirit was obvious. When not in the game you could find him cheering for his favorite teams, sharing those moments with family and friends. His competitive spirit and love of sports were just another reflection of the energy and passion he brought to life.

Though his life was much too short, the impact he made on those around him will last a lifetime. He will be remembered for his love of God and family, adventurous heart, sense of humor, and the countless memories he gave to those fortunate enough to know him.

He leaves behind a family who loved him deeply and will miss him beyond words. Including his beloved parents Sean and Angela Smith, his brother Collin Smith, his grandparents Monty and Patricia Smith and Kenny and Barbara Smith. He also leaves behind numerous extended family members and friends that he loved immensely. 

His memory will live on in every family gathering, every journey taken, every game played or watched, every patient he cared for and every story shared about the wonderful young man he was.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday August 15, 2026 from 3PM-5PM at First Baptist Church of Henleyfield located at 4941 Mississippi 43 North, Carriere, MS 39426. 

A Graveside Funeral Service will follow for 5PM at First Baptist Church of Henleyfield Cemetery in the same location.
