Cynthia Ilean Smith Carter of Picayune, Mississippi passed away on Thursday June 23, 2022, at the age of 59.
Cynthia was a lifelong resident of picayune. She had a passion for rescuing animals. She adored her puppies, Rusty, Susie, Izzy, and Rent. She had a heart of gold and will be missed by many.
She is preceded by her parents, Bunk and Ann Smith; husband, Frank Sean Carter; brothers, Jimmy C. Smith and James M. Smith; nephew, Thomas Dillon Smith.
She is survived by her nephews, Andrew Smith and Kenny Wayne Smith; numerous family and friends.
Services will be held by family at a later date.
Arrangements are under the direction of Picayune Funeral Home.
