Dennis Ray Smith, age 58, of Carriere, Mississippi passed away Sunday, November 26, 2017.
Visitation will be held at Picayune Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 29, 2017. Funeral services will follow at 12:00 p.m. at Picayune Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Danny Johnson officiating. Burial will be at George Ford Cemetery under the direction of Picayune Funeral Home.
Mr. Smith was a lifetime resident of Pearl River County, a truckdriver, and of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by father, Norvell Smith of Picayune; sons, Dennis Dickerson of Laurel, and Christopher Smith of Laurel; daughters, Nicole Smith of Slidell, and Gabriella Smith of Slidell; sisters, Debra Salazar of Southaven, and Kathy Rogers of Vernon, Alabama, and Evelyn Coleman of Picayune; brothers, Franklin Moody, Jr. of Picayune, and Billy Moody of Picayune; and two grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Edna Penton Moody; brothers, John Smith, and Curtis Davis, Sr; brother, Darrell Norris; sisters, Lorie Ann Moody, and Tina Moody.
