Dewey Wayne Williams was born on January 16, 1946, in Cullman, Alabama. He passed away on May 8, 2026, in Poplarville, Mississippi. Dewey lived a meaningful life and was known for his kind spirit.

He was a devoted father to his sons, Geoff Williams (Kathy), Jonas Williams, and his daughter Krisi Cox (Ken). Dewey took great pride in his family and cherished the time spent with them. His love extended to his grandchildren: Bree Williams, Dustin, Tiffany, and Cody Weining, Sophia Williams, Amelia Williams, and Eden Lee. He was also blessed to know the joy of great-grandchildren, including Zaylynn and Penelope, who brought light to his later years.

Dewey was preceded in death by his father, Dewey "Grady" Williams, and his mother, Margie Pauline Williams. Their memory lived on in Dewey’s heart and through the family he lovingly raised.

Those who knew Dewey remember him as a man who cared deeply for his family and community. His legacy will continue through the many lives he touched. He will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by his family and friends.
