Donnie Joe Michael, age 58, of Slidell, Louisiana passed away Tuesday, October 3, 2017.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Mr. Michael was a former resident of Picayune, and in the construction industry. He loved his two dogs, Destiny and Bethany.
He is survived by his mother, Mary C. Dillard; girlfriend, Shirley Brittain of Slidell, Louisiana; one son, Donnie J. Michael, Jr. of New Jersey; one step-son, Robert Strange of Slidell; one daughter, Martha E. Michael of New Jersey; one step-daughter, Tanya Strange of California; one brother, Timmothy W. Michael of Picayune; four sisters, Phillis Carpenter of Picayune, Angie Hutchison of Picayune, Bonnie Blocker of Diamondhead, and Pam Phillips of Carriere; two grandchildren, J.J. Lange and Brielle Lange; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father, Walter, W. Michael.
