Edward "Ed" Benjamin Estey Jr. passed away on Saturday May 23, 2026 at home surrounded by his family. Ed was born on March 25, 1956 In New Orleans Louisiana to parents Edward Benjamin Estey Sr. and Hazel Jordan Estey. He was a big fan of the motorcycle and automotive world, and enjoyed traveling and attending any related events. He was a master craftsman who could engineer and build just about anything from wood or metal. He was a devoted and loyal husband, father, grandfather, and friend.

Ed is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Lugene (Lou) Estey, his daughters Sherry Estey Adams (Shawn), Madilynn Estey Barnes (Chad), grandchildren Cohen Benjamin Adams, Luke Edward Adams, sister Betty Faye Winborne (J.D.), and niece Pam White (Gary).

He is preceded in death by his father Edward Benjamin Estey Sr., mother Hazel Jordan Estey, 2 unborn Barnes baby grandchildren, sister Stella Estey Newby, brother Lendor Estey, and nephew Michael Todd Windborne.

A Celebration of Life Brunch will be held on Saturday, June 6th from 10-12 (come and go) at the Grand Ridge Country Club. 500 Willowdale Blvd. Luling, LA 70070 Cypress Room
