Elizabeth Lee was born on August 11, 1935, in New Orleans, Louisiana to her parents, Sadie Fleming and Victor Scott Carriere. She left this world April 11, 2025.
She was a housewife, mother of two children and she was also a foster parent for many years.
She later received her RN degree and cared for the elderly.
Her passion was reading and cooking. She loved cooking for family.
She was preceded in death by her husband Larus Lee, her parents, Sadie and Victor Scott Carriere, two brothers, Richard Carriere, Arthur Scott Carriere, one sister Gloria (Tip) Michael and one grandchild, Mark Roger King, Jr.
Survivors include her daughter, Cathy Larenda King and her son, Gary Wayne Lee (Wanda) and four sisters, Carolyn Carriere, Lorraine Carriere Diaz Haffner, Linda Davis and Elly Nae Chenevert.
She was blessed with seven grandchildren, Charles Wendal Slaydon (Tabitha), Gary Wayne Lee, Jr. (Leslie), Nicholas Aaron Lee (Lacey), Candace Elizabeth Lee Stewart (Justin), Heather Megan Smith, Benjamin Larus Lee, seventeen great grandchildren and one great, great grandchild.
Whereas she will be greatly missed, we rejoice that she is now in the arms of her loving Savior, Jesus Christ. What a great reunion!
