Elizabeth "Betty" Rae Whitfield Williams, age 86, of Picayune, Mississippi passed away Sunday, May 13, 2018.
Visitation will be held Friday, May 18, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Picayune Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at Picayune Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Bo Moller officiating.
Mrs. Williams was a resident of Pearl River County, a former Cosmetologist, and a member of Salem Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son, Keith Hershel Williams of Knoxville, Tennessee; daughters, Lana Kaye Briggs of Tennessee, Marsha Jones (Richard) of Picayune, Robin Dawn Harris (Jeff) of Hattiesburg, and Laurie Shawn Johansen of Picayune; brother, Toby Whitfield of Picayune; 7 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Ray Bob Whitfield and Lucille Pearson Whitfield; husband of 65 years, Charles Hershel Williams; brothers, Paul Whitfield, and Doyle Whitfield.
In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
The family would like to give a special thank you to Halcycon Hospice who loved and cared for our mother.
