Elkin Kent, age 73, of Picayune passed away Wednesday, August 17, 2011 in Picayune.
A Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2011 at Picayune Funeral Home from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m.
Mr. Kent served in the U.S. Navy and had moved to Pearl River County from New Orleans thirty-nine years ago.
He is survived by his wife Margaret Kent; four sons, Paul (Helen) Kent of Mandeville, Louisiana, Mark Kent of Counts, Tennessee, Robert (Marva) Kent of Tupelo, Mississippi and Thomas Kent of Picayune, Mississippi; one daughter, Jennifer (Mike) Clayton of Metairie, Louisiana; one brother, McNeil Kent of St. Pete, Florida; ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Brown and Hallie Kent.
