Elsie Mae Knepper, born August 19, 1934 in Norristown, Pennsylvania, passed away on January 30, 2026.

Elsie moved to California when She was in her twenties and went on to raise four children. In California she became the first woman to be certified in Welding. She continued to weld throughout her life. Next was her move to Wisconsin Rapids where she enjoyed farming. She had a passion for goats and chickens. Friends and family all enjoyed her farm fresh eggs, goat milk, and homemade cheeses.

In her retirement she sold her home and bought a fifth wheel along with a bumper sticker reading "Spending our children's inheritance" a sample of her humor. For years she traveled the United States with her beloved husband Earl. Later she put roots down in Picayune, Mississippi, and built a beautiful homestead along with her husband of 70 years Earl, and her devoted Son Earl A. Knepper. Elsie was an avid reader, enjoyed puzzles, cooking, gardening, crafts of all kinds, spending time with her family and her canine children Bam Bam, Pebbles, and Dino.

Elsie was predeceased by her dad, Albert “Jack” Hope Law, mother, Ethel (Blair) Law, brothers Joe, Bill, Harold, John, and Bob, sisters Pat Love, Lillian Quinn and Mary Jane, son in law-Patrick Brennan, great grandson Malachi Anderson, father in- law Earl Lewis Knepper, mother in-law Hannah Mae (Northy) Knepper.

Elsie is survived by daughters Cheryl Knepper, Donna Brennan (Dale Eimerman), Joyce Stirk (Dana), and son Earl A. Knepper (Jineth Alino); nine grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren; sister Joyce Whitaker and brother Bob Law.

Elsie leaves behind a legacy of Courage, Strength, and Adventure but most of all Love.

A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
