Elva Ruiz English, age 73, of Carriere passed away Friday, December 16, 2011 at Highland Community Hospital.
A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, December 22, 2011 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. Rosary will be held at 11:00 a.m. with Mass following at 12:00 p.m. Father Mike Snyder will be officiating.
She is survived by her husband, Charlie English, Sr. of Carriere; three sons, Charlie English, Jr. of Houma, LA, James English of San Diego, CA and Richard English of Cookville, TN; one daughter, Elva English MacDonald of Sagamore Beach, MA; three brothers, Gilbert Flores of Austin, TX, Jose Ruiz of Corpus Christi, TX and Richard Ruiz of Corpus Christi, TX; two sisters, Prieta Rodriguez of Corpus Christi, TX and Keta Ruiz of Corpus Christi, TX; four grandchildren, Charlie English III, Patrick MacDonald, Matthew MacDonald and Bailey English.
She is preceded in death by her parents Jose Ruiz and Gudalupe Flores.
