Evelyn Deloney Salassi, born November 12, 1968, in New Orleans, Louisiana, passed away on May 22, 2026, in Slidell, Louisiana. Evelyn was a proud graduate of Louise S. McGehee School, a notable mark in New Orleans, and later of LSU.

She was a loving wife to Gerard O. Salassi IV and devoted mother to her children Patrick Benton Hagood, Christian Foster Salassi, and Lindsay Elizabeth Salassi. She was preceded in death by her parents, Linda Benton Deloney and Harold "Bill" Deloney.

Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday July 11, 2026 from 6PM-9PM at 15050 Choctaw Dr. Kiln, MS 39556.

This is not a typical Memorial. She loved people and fun. The intention is to celebrate her well. Yes, you may mourn, but we celebrate a fighter who is now at home with God. She was a wonderful mother to 3 great kids, and an awesome wife and a true friend. Anyone who knew and appreciated her are invited to her Celebration of Life. Kids are welcome. We are on the Jourdan River and access the pool across the street.

Evelyn is now at home with God, remembered fondly by all who knew her.
