It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of Faye Eileen Connell. A beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who passed on August 23, 2026, at the age of 64.

Faye graduated from Leon Highschool and retired from Florida Department of Revenue. She was born in Marianna, Florida on December 4, 1961, to Nellie Connell and Wiley H. Connell. She grew up in Tallahassee, Florida and moved to Mississippi in 2011.

She is survived by her children, Maryanne Connell and Robby Connell (Jennifer); brother Don Connell (Debrah); six grandchildren, Maria, John "Bubba", Chrissie, Lyla, Cora, and Wren Connell; nieces Kyrstal Barido and Kathryn Christensen; great nephew Kacey Barido; great niece Elowyn Christensen; and sister Diana Connell.

She is preceded in passing by her father Wiley H. Connell, mother Nellie Connell, and brother Eugene Connell.

A Celebration of Life will be held September 19, 2026, Graveside at the Bazel Connell Family Cemetery. Faye will be laid to rest beside her brother Eugene Connell and father Wiley H. Connell in Mount Vernon, GA.
