Frances Valorie McLemore Herrin, age 76, of Picayune, Mississippi passed away Friday, March 2, 2018.
Graveside service will be held Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at McNeill Cemetery.
Mrs. Herrin was a former secretary for the state of Louisiana, and a member of Roseland Park Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son, Oscar Larry Herrin, Jr. of Gulf Shores, Alabama; daughter Laura Darlene Murphy of Picayune; brothers, J.W. McLemore of Picayune, Howell Gene Penton of Picayune, and Glennis Penton of Picayune; sister, Vigie DuPont of Picayune; three grandchildren, Laura Anne Herrin-White, Blake Timothy Herrin, and Michael Stanford; Jim Murphy; Teresa Stanford, Tim Freeman, Thomas Freeman, Teresa Freeman, and Tracey Freeman; and a number of nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her father Frank McLemore; mother, Nora E. Lindsey; son, Toxie Hoyt Stanford; brother, Daryll McLemore; sisters, Lois Sylvest, Irma Gene Keith, and Vondell Perrette.
