Frank Felty

Franklin Duane Felty, born on July 2, 1939, in Grayson, Kentucky, passed away on August 22, 2025, in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. His life was filled with love and the joy of family.

Frank enjoyed spending his time playing guitar and singing. He had a particular fondness for artists Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, and Conway Twitty.

Frank is survived by his daughters, Dawn Thompson and Carol Felty, and his brother Jimmy Felty. He cherished his grandchildren, Richy, Chad, Nikole, Frankie, JR, Shannon, Celeste, Brandi and Delmar. Additionally, Frank leaves behind a host of great-grandchildren who will carry his memory forward.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Sue W. Felty, as well as his father James Felty and mother Beulah Felty. Frank is also preceded by his son, Frank Wayne Felty, and his siblings, Joe Felty, Roy Felty, Edge Felty, Billy Felty, Mary Ann Felty, Carol Jo Felty, and Nadine Felty.

Frank's presence and spirit will be remembered by all who knew him.
