Frederick J. Winter, age 81, of Picayune passed away Saturday, May 14, 2011 at Highland Community Hospital. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
Frederick was a veteran of the United States Army. He moved to Picayune six years ago from Monticello, Mississippi.
He is survived by his wife Ericka Winter of Picayune; three sons, James M. Winter of Breaux Bridge, Louisiana, David J. Winter of Kenner, Louisiana and Erick Shearn of Pennsylvania; one daughter, Brenda Gilmore of Metairie, Louisiana; one sister Leila Abernathy of New Brunsfield, Texas; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Frederick and Florence Winter
