Gary Wayne Parker, of Poplarville, Mississippi passed away Thursday, October 10, 2019 at the age of 73 with family by his side.
Gary was a life-long resident of Poplarville and a veteran of the U.S Army National Guard. He worked many years for the City of Picayune as an equipment operator. He was a loving husband and father. His many joys were spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Lottie Wood Parker; stepson, James Poole (Kelly); daughters, Stacy Polk (James), Melissa Powe (Chris); stepdaughter, Angel Dillon (Lee); brothers, Willy "Bill" Earl Parker, Sr., N.D Parker (Faye); fourteen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his children's mother, Billie Ruth Parker; Parents Aaron Parker and Sadie Mae Alexander; brother, Charles Parker.
Visitation will be held 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., Monday, October 14, 2019 at Picayune Funeral Home.
A Funeral Service will be 10:00 a. m. Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at Picayune Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Sones Chapel Cemetery.
