Gene Raymond Roberts, age 81, of Picayune, Mississippi passed away Saturday, April 11, 2015.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 14, 2015 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Picayune Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Picayune Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at New Palestine Cemetery under the direction of Picayune Funeral Home.
Mr. Roberts was a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force, and a former maintenance technician. He was a member of Goodyear Baptist Church where he was also a Deacon Emeritus.
He is survived by his wife Wadena W. Roberts of Picayune; one son, Kevin R. Roberts of Picayune; one daughter, Jamee Callahan of Picayune; two sisters, Jackie McQueen of Picayune, and Marilyn Davis of Picayune; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Andrew Jackson Roberts, and Louella A. Mitchell Williams; one daughter, Katherine Palmore; two brothers, Billy M. Roberts, and Larry Williams.
