Genevieve Dupont Dominique went into eternal rest on September 1, 2026. Genevieve was born in Jennings, Louisiana on June 10, 1939 to Abbie and Susan Dupont. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family, and reading books any chance she could get.

Genevieve will be remembered by her daughters Dena Dominique, Wanda Smith (Lea), sons Ken Dominique (Joy), Joey Dominique (Mary), Steven Dominique (Sharon), brother George Dupont (Frances), grandchildren Jena' Leake (Ben), Lauren Stroud (Eric), Chance Dominique, Macie Dominique, Kayla Miller (Luke), Erin Herring (Joseph), Travis Bruce (Courtney), Brandon Bruce (Katie), great grandchildren Sean Bruce, Sera Bruce, Landon Miller, Jensen Miller, Emery Stroud, Knox Herring, Julien Bruce, and Willow Bruce.

She is preceded in passing by her beloved husband of 60 years Burt P. Dominique, parents Abbie and Susan Dupont, brother Abbie Dupont, and son in law Julien Bruce.

A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church located at 1000 Goodyear Blvd, Picayune, MS 39466 at a date to be announced.
