Gerry Julia Cooksey went into eternal rest on September 4, 2026. She was born in Arizona on August 19, 1940 to George and Julia Miller. Gerry was a loving mother, and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family. When she wasn't spending time with family she could often be found living it up at the casino.

Gerry is survived by her children Terry Bennett (James), Ronnie Chadwell (Karen), Sheryl Spiers (Junior), Ronda Campbell (Tony), brother Bobby Miller (Jesse), sister Janet Holder, and 16 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

She is preceded in passing by her parents George and Julia Miller, 2 brothers, and 3 sisters.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a date and place to be announced.

Though Gerry is gone, she will never be forgotten.
