Glenda Jean Hale, 76, of Carriere, Mississippi, entered into eternal rest on October 21, 2026.

Glenda was born on November 5, 1949, in Picayune, Mississippi, to Clarence and Jenny Rae Frierson. The oldest of seven children and the only girl among six brothers, Glenda held a special place in her family from the very beginning. Above all, Glenda was a devoted wife, loving mother, and cherished grandmother. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family and the people she loved most. She treasured the moments they shared together and took great pride in watching her family grow through the years.

Glenda is survived by her daughter Sandra Sartalamacchia (Ron), brothers Ricky Frierson, Bernice Frierson, grandchildren Lacy Burk, Tony Tebo, Dustie Norton (Ronald), Donald Tardy, Phillip Tardy, Beaux Baham (Megan), Stephanie DeLancey (Isaac), 15 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.

She is preceded in passing by her husband Gary Hale, father Clarence Frierson, mother Jenny Rae Frierson, sons Phillip Burk, Jeffery Burk, brothers Jimmy Dale Frierson, Jerry Frierson, Tommy Glenn Frierson, and Doug Frierson.

A graveside funeral will be held on a date to be announced at Burgetown Cemetery located at 314 Burgetown Road, Carriere, MS 39426.
