Gloria Lee Wilson Floyd, age 88, of Carriere passed awayTuesday September 23, 2008 at Poplarville Nursing Home
The funeral service will be Saturday, September 27,at 10:00 AM at Picayune Funeral Home Chapel,
with Rev. Gene Wilson, Rev. Mike Cook, and Rev. Rick Cross officiating.Visitation will be Friday, September 26 from6 p.m - 9:00 p.m. at Picayune Funeral Home.Burial will be at White Chapel Cemetery.
Gloria, a native of Louisiana, moved to Picayune from New Orleans, LA twenty years ago.She was a retired preschool teacher at Gentilly Baptist Church in New Orleans La.and a member of Roseland Park Baptist Church in Picayune.
She is survived by:three sons: Weldon Floyd Springfield, TN Ronald Floyd of Slidell, LA.Kenneth Floyd of Slidell, LA.two daughters: Lyn West of Webb, Ala.Karen Cook of Fort Wayne, Ind.two brothers: Rev. Gene Wilson, Berne, Ind.Eddie H. Wilson of Bedford, Texastwo sisters; Charlene Brown of Las Vegas, Nevada
Dorothy Merle Harrell of Oklahoma City, Okla.14 grandchildren
Gloria was preceded in death by her husband Clarence Floyd
