Harold J. Veasey, age 76, of Picayune, Mississippi passed away Thursday, June 11, 2015.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Slidell, Louisiana at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be under the direction of Picayune Funeral Home.
Mr. Veasey was born March 16, 1939. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army, and a restaurant owner in the New Orleans area.
He is survived by his former wife and the mother of his four children, Carolyn Veasey of CA; three sons, Kenneth Veasey of Temecula, CA, Donald Veasey of Temecula, CA, and Nicholas (Donna) Veasey of Metairie, LA; one daughter, Cynthia (Ty) Tyler of Murrieta, CA; three brothers, Ronald Kennedy, Clarence Kennedy, and Charles Kennedy all of Brantley, AL; one sister, Joyce Sumlin of Brantley, AL; and seven grandchildren, Chandler, Victoria, Kayla, Kandace, Madison, Mallory, and Rebekah
He is preceded in death by his parents, John T. Veasey, and Eunice Veasey Kennedy; one brother, Johnny Veasey; and one sister, Mary Kelly.
