Harrison "Pete" Francis Duet Jr. passed away on December 6, 2025, in New Orleans, Louisiana, at the age of 80. Born on July 27, 1945, in New Orleans, Pete lived a life full of memories and joys. He was a proud U.S. Navy Veteran who worked as a truck driver for Central Freight.
Pete cherished the time spent with his family and friends. He enjoyed playing poker, calling Bingo, and playing with his dog, Dolly. He was a proud member of the Knights of Columbus, a testament to his commitment to service and community.
Pete is survived by his son Kerry J. Frank (Danielle), daughters Laurie F. Raspino (Thomas) and Beth F. Sekinger (Steven), and a loving group of grandchildren, including Brandi Lattin (Scott), Jessica Raspino, Jamie Raspino (Hailey), Thomas Raspino III (Steffany), Colin Frank, Christopher Frank, Kelsey Rohrer (Brad), and Jack Sekinger. He also leaves behind his great-grandchildren Jaelen Lewis, Dominick Lattin, Damien Raspino, Evangeline Rohrer, Hazel Rohrer, and Sawyer Raspino.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 41 years, Gayle Harter Duet, his father Harrison Duet Sr., his stepfather Murphy Dufrene, and his mother Doris Richoux Dufrene.
Visitation will be held at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Picayune, Mississippi, on January 8, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a Mass from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The inurnment will be held at Southeast Louisiana Veteran's Cemetery located in Slidell on Friday January 9, 2026 for 12:30PM.
He will be dearly missed by all who knew him and shared in his joys throughout his life.
