James Monroe Mitchell, age 69, of Picayune, Mississippi passed away Thursday, January 18, 2018.
A memorial service will be held by the family Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Flat Top Unity Baptist Church on Indian Ridge Road, with Bro. Randy Shaw officiating.
Mr. Mitchell was a lifetime resident of Picayune, and a truck driver. He loved to hunt especially with his hunting buddy Dwayne Lee.
He is survived by brothers, George B. Mitchell of Picayune, and Jerry S. Mitchell of Perkinston; Dwayne Lee who was like a son to him; and his beloved Dachshunds Daisy and Scrappy.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Sebern B. Mitchell and Onita Dixon Mitchell; sister, Barbara D. Mitchell.
