James Wilton Pearson, born on August 19, 1949, in Picayune, Mississippi, peacefully passed away on October 26, 2024, in Gulfport, Mississippi at the age of 75. James, a proud and skilled mechanic in the auto industry, had a passion for classic cars, fishing, and building engines.
Having never strayed far from his roots, James enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, finding joy in the serene waters of Mississippi. His dedication to his craft was evident in his meticulous work and the many engines he brought back to life over the years.
Throughout his life, James touched the hearts of many with his warm smile, kind demeanor, and unwavering commitment to his family and friends. His memory will forever be cherished by those who had the privilege of knowing him.
James is survived by his daughter, Angela Smith; sisters, Mary Beth Vierling and husband James, and Lori Bentley and husband, Michael; numerous nieces and nephews; and wonderful friends.
James was preceded in death by his parents, Ellis W. Pearson and Margaret Coolie Pearson; and brother, Jeffrey Pearson.
No services at this time. The family asks for friends and family reminisce and remember James as the wonderful person he was.
