James Herbert Prestridge Jr., born June 23, 1941, in Port Arthur, Texas, passed away peacefully on July 13, 2026, in Carriere, Mississippi, surrounded by the love and presence of his family.
James's life was defined by hard work, creativity, and deep commitment to his loved ones and community. He began his journey in Port Arthur, where his roots were formed under the guidance of his parents, James Prestridge Sr. and Mae Belle Chenault Prestridge, both of whom preceded him in death. Throughout his life, James embraced multiple roles with steadfast devotion. Professionally, he was an accomplished Electrical Technician, highly skilled in working on electronics and CB radios.
