Jean Simon Rapp of Carriere, Mississippi, passed away on Wednesday, May 2, 2019 at the age of 82.
Visitation will be 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at First United Methodist Church in Picayune, Mississippi. Memorial Services will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Bro. Harold Manning officiating.
Jean was a resident of Pearl River County for the past 19 years and was a member of First United Methodist Church. She was an instructor at Odyssey House.
She is survived by her husband, Donald Rapp of Carriere, Mississippi; her sons, James Young of Florida and Jonathan Young of Louisiana; her daughter, Yolanda Jeannine Brown (Thomas) of Waggaman, Louisiana; her brothers, Michael Selvage of Marrero, Louisianan and Tony Selvage of Texas; her sisters, Marie Vineyard of Kentucky, Ruth Collings of Florida and Sue Porche; ten grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Arthur Collings and Ella Mae Payne Collings; and brothers, Edward Collings, Robert Collings and Wayne Selvage
In lieu of flowers you may make a donation in memory of Jean to First United Methodist Church, Picayune, Mississippi or to the charity of your choice.
