Jeffrey "Jeff" Michael Stockstill

Jeffrey "Jeff" Michael Stockstill, age 58, passed away peacefully on June 12, 2025, in New Orleans, Louisiana. Born on April 14, 1967, in Picayune, Mississippi, Jeff was a man of many talents and passions, deeply cherished by those who had the privilege of knowing him.

Known for his exceptional skills in auto restoration, Jeff made a name for himself with his remarkable work on cars. His passion for piddling with vehicles was not merely a hobby but a testament to his eye for detail and artistry. Friends and family fondly remember him for creating beautiful, lasting memories through his craftsmanship.

Throughout his life, Jeff was a devoted family man. He adored his wife, Tami Scalia Stockstill, with whom he shared over 40 years of love and companionship. Their enduring bond stood as a cornerstone of his life, a true partnership marked by respect and affection. Jeff was also the proud father of Brandon Clinton Stockstill, whose achievements and happiness were a source of pride for him.

In addition to his immediate family, Jeff left a lasting impact on his grandchildren, Raelynn Claire Stockstill and Rhett Thomas Stockstill. He cherished their time together, often recalling the joy he found in playing the drums alongside Raelynn, creating wonderful moments that will forever be etched in their hearts.

Jeff is survived by his brothers, Blake, Allan, Eric, and Christopher Stockstill, and his sister, Lauran Stockstill. He is remembered fondly by his stepfather, Jeff Clinton Carnes, and his father and mother-in-law, Rick and Sue Scalia. He was preceded in death by his parents, Michael Hugh Stockstill and Patricia Frierson, whose memories will forever hold a special place in the hearts of all who loved him.
