Jerry Joseph Loupe, Sr., age 78, of Picayune passed away Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at his residence.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 28th from 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. at Pine Grove Baptist Church, followed by the Funeral Service at 3:00 p.m. with Bro. Timothy Mims officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery.
Jerry was born in Paradis, Louisiana and moved to Picayune from New Orleans twenty-three years ago. He had worked as a longshoreman with the NOSSA and was a U.S. Air Force Veteran. He was also a member and deacon at Pine Grove Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of fifty-one years, Marcia Faye Loupe of Picayune; one son, Jerry J. Loupe, Jr. of Louisiana; two daughters, Rebecca Ballex of Picayune and Julie Hancock of Picayune;four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Dewey and Aline Loupe ;two brothers, Jimmy J. Loupe and Charles Loupe, Sr.
