JoAnn Claire Young, age 72, of Slidell, Louisiana passed away Sunday, October 23, 2016.
Visitation will be held on October 26, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Picayune Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Bro. James Reeves officiating.
Mrs. Young was a homemaker and of the Catholic Faith.
She is survived by two sons, Gerald Young of Madisonville, and Jeffrey Young of Slidell; one daughter, Kristen Koehn of Slidell; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Winifred McCarthy; husband Gerald Young; and one sister Doris Benefield.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to St. Judes.
