Joe Spence

Joe Spence, born on January 24, 1956, in Poplarville, Mississippi, passed away on September 4, 2025, in Picayune, Mississippi. He was a cherished father, brother, and grandfather.

Joe is survived by his beloved sons, Matthew Spence (Renea) and Adam Spence. His family also includes his sisters, Beckie Davis (Mike), Martie Gravley (Craig), Priscilla Sachs (Gary), and Rachel Orillion (Keith). He is further survived by his brothers, Johnie Spence (Michelle), Frankie Spence, and Joseph Spence. Joe found great joy in his role as a grandfather to his grandchildren Jayce, Caiden, and Cameron.

Joe was preceded in death by his father, Johnie Spence, and his mother, Mary Spence. He also mourned the loss of his sisters, Kathleen Wheat and Christine Jarrell.

Joe's warmth and spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Gipson Cemetery on September 21, 2025 @ 2:00pm.
