John Carl Reynolds

John Carl Reynolds, born on December 7, 1949, in Picayune, Mississippi, passed away on October 9, 2025, in his beloved hometown. John was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.

He was married for 50 years to his wonderful wife, Brenda "Cricket" Reynolds. Together, they raised a loving family that includes sons John Patrick Reynolds (Amanda) and Wallace LeRoy Reyer, as well as daughters Caroline Reynolds, Sonia Anderson (Jonathan), and Vivian "Maggie" Reyer. John was also a proud grandfather to Bailey, Landon, Lynden, Laney, Madilyn, Landrie, Carsyn, Henley, Carter, and Parker, and he took immense joy in his role as a great-grandfather to Hallie.

John is also survived by his brother, Kevin "The Bull" J. Baham, sister, Roxie A. Lumpkin (Ronnie), and mother-in-law, Kelsey Jo Stewart, who will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his father, Luther "Pete" Patrick Reynolds, his stepfather Leonard J. Baham, his mother Cleo Craft Baham, and his brothers Pat Reynolds and Gary Reynolds.

John was a proud veteran of the United States Marines and Sergeant at Arms for 21 years for the American Legion Post 73. John Carl Reynolds will be remembered for his kind heart, dedication to his family, and the joy he brought to all who knew him. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

A visitation will be held for John at Pine Grove Baptist Church located at 34 Pine Grove Rd, Picayune, MS 39466 on Friday October 17, 2025, for 9AM followed by a funeral for 11AM. Burial to take place at Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Legion Post 73 Building Fund. Arrangements are under the direction of Picayune Funeral Home.
