Johnny Edge, Jr., age 76, of Picayune, Mississippi passed away Saturday, October 18, 2014.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 22, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Picayune Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at Picayune Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Arthur Lee officiating. Burial will be at Sycamore Cemetery under the direction of Picayune Funeral Home.
Mr. Edge was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy, a resident of Picayune for 53 years, and a member of Sycamore Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Myrtle Edge of Picayune; son, Marty (Stephanie) Edge of Wisconsin; daughters, Theressa (George) China of Picayune, and Beverly Davis of Picayune; sisters, Ann Staples, Annette Craft, and Nancy Hinson; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Gladys Edge, Sr.; daughter, Deborah
Edge; son-in-law, Brett Davis; sisters, Elizabeth Miller, and Jane Bearden; brothers,
Wriley Edge, Gerald Edge, Allen Edge, Kenneth Edge, and Robert Edge.
