Julius aka "Pic" was shaped by his hometown values of hard work, resilience, and known for his strong work ethic and business sense. He spent his life doing what he knew best, owning and operating a roofing business. Family mattered deeply to him. He loved and cared for his late mother, Mary Alice, loved his daughters Stephanie and Jeannie, and took great pride in his grandsons Brady, Jackson, and Davis. He also found excitement and happiness in the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He found his peace in a good cup of coffee and a long conversation. He was not a social butterfly by any means, but he enjoyed the company of those he loved.
He was preceded in death by his parents Julius Davis Sr. and Mary Stinson Davis, and brother Troy Davis.
Left to cherish his memory are his companion Sandra Spano, daughters Jeannie Dillard (Colbey) and Stephanie Spivey, brother Carl Davis, sisters Donna McCain, Denise Bales, and Vickie Smith, and 3 grandsons Brady Dillard, Jackson Spivey, and Davis Spivey.
