Kathryn Ann Barnette went into eternal rest on August 28, 2026 at the age of 75. Kathryn was born on March 3, 1951 to parents Charles Sponsel and Benita Sponsel. 

Kathy was a proud wife, mother, and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family, and she thoroughly enjoyed Garfield. She was also a veteran who proudly served our country in the United States Navy. 

Kathy is survived by her loving husband Gary Lee Barnette, son Richard Lee Barnette, and grandchildren Kiersten Leigh Barnette, and Xander Drake Barnette.

She is preceded in passing by her parents Charles Lenard Sponsel, and Benita Marie Sponsel.

Kathy may be gone but she will not be forgotten.
