Kevin Joseph McConnell Sr.

Kevin Joseph McConnell Sr., born on January 14, 1967, passed away peacefully on August 15, 2025, in Covington, Louisiana.

Kevin was a man of many passions. He loved fishing, painting, and music, finding joy in the simple pleasures that life had to offer. His creative spirit and zest for life were truly contagious, and he shared this joy with everyone around him.

He is survived by his father, Herbert Robin, and his mother, Catherine Robin. Kevin is also remembered fondly by his children: Kevin McConnell Jr. (Megan), Colby Lee (Brittany), Mallory Hipp (Cordie), and Britany Lee. Additionally, he cherished his grandchildren, Haisley Lynette McConnell, Cheyenne Pyron, Alexis Henson, Cordie Hipp Jr., Harper Hipp, Caylah Sims, Charlie Wilkins, Lydia Lee, Cylie Lee, and Kera Lee, who were the lights of his life.

Family and friends are invited to gather for a visitation and a celebration of Kevin's life on September 1, 2025, at Picayune Funeral Home, located at 815 S. Haugh Ave. in Picayune, Mississippi. The visitation will begin at 2:00 PM, followed by the celebration from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

Kevin's memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him, and he will be greatly missed.
