Kevin Patrick Murphy Sr.

Kevin P. Murphy Sr. passed away on Wednesday, October 1, 2025 in Picayune, MS, at the age of 75. 

Beloved husband to Faith S. Murphy for 52 years. Beloved father to Kevin P. Murphy Jr. and Lauren R. Murphy. Beloved grandfather to Jayden S. Andrews. Brother to Robert E. Murphy Jr. Preceded in death by parents Robert E. Murphy, Sr. and Grace D. Murphy and siblings Mallory A. Murphy and Shawn D. Murphy.

  A native of New Orleans, he was a graduate of Holy Cross High School. He worked for over 40 years in marine construction as a heavy equipment operator. A loyal Saints fan, he was overjoyed after a Super Bowl 44 victory. He resided in Picayune for the past 30 years. 

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a memorial service on Saturday, October 18, 2025 at 1pm at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 1421 Goodyear Blvd. Picayune, MS.

 In lieu of flowers, a donation in his name can be made to St. Jude, The Wounded Warrior Project or The Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
