Laura Dell Penton, age 78, of Carriere passed away Monday, August 29, 2011 at her residence.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
She is survived by two sons, Corbet (Brenda) Penton and Jay Carson (Cindy) Penton; one daughter Debra (Gene) P. Husley; one brother, Daniel Gilmer (Lotte) Penton; Six Grandchildren, Becky (Chuck) Simmons, Summer (Jody) Browder, Ashley (John) Mitchell, Robert Husley, Jeremy Husley and Cameron Husley; Seven Great-Grandchildren, Riley, Tanner, Dawson, Ava, Landon, John Carson and James.
She is preceded in death by her parents Norman and Ella Penton, three brothers, Norman Dauldon Penton, Lawrence Penton and Corbet L. Penton; two sisters, Clara Nell McCraney Davis and Addie Lumpkin.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
